Emails
The Emails tool provides a unified email communication hub that syncs emails from team Gmail accounts, matches them to contacts and companies in Nucleus, and displays them in a Gmail-like interface.
Features
Section titled “Features”- Gmail sync — fetches sent and received emails from team members’ Gmail accounts via domain-wide delegation
- Contact matching — automatically links emails to known contacts and companies
- Threading — groups related emails by Gmail thread ID
- Split-panel interface — thread list on the left, full email view on the right
- Compose & reply — send emails directly from Nucleus via Gmail API
- Contextual tabs — email threads appear on Client, Company, Deal, and Contact detail pages
How Sync Works
Section titled “How Sync Works”- Click “Sync” in the header or wait for the scheduled sync (every 15 minutes)
- Nucleus fetches emails from your Gmail involving known contacts (last 90 days on first sync)
- Each email is matched to contacts by email address
- Subsequent syncs are incremental — only new messages since last sync
Email Matching
Section titled “Email Matching”An email is stored only if at least one participant (sender, recipient, or CC) matches a contact email address in Nucleus. This ensures only business-relevant emails are synced — personal emails are never fetched.
